I installed x64 on my 120gb hd and things have been going fine, (im actually using the 64 bit one as I write this) trying to find as many 64 bit drivers as I can. I have the chipset, nvidia drivers, creative sound drivers, just looking for logitech drivers for my mouse.

For those who might want to know, fraps.com has a 64 bit version of fraps now. =)

damn HP....

i didn't check....went totally 64....and now i have no printer drivers....

they give you a link to sign up for updates when you try to download x64 drivers, but then when you do that there's no option to tell it you want updates on 64 drivers...just regular XP....

ARG!

Should've done your home work first.

Printer/scanner/camera drivers are one of the areas that you'll run into low levels of support ATM.

Realtek also has release x64 drivers available that seem to work fine. XP64 also supports their hardware natively.

So, what's the verdict Riptide (and others)? Are you happy you jumped to XP64 or do y'all recommend staying with the 32-bit version. I'm still unsure of whether I want to upgrade or not although I guess I could just dual-boot.
