On my G5 2.5GHz system the water cooling system is tight. I definitely think its the way to go. You can apply the same principle to cars and say its absurd that they use liquid cooling. Really it's the only way to go with the kinds of heat we are now dealing with.

So I saw that all games will be LIVE. Does this mean it requires you to have a LIVE account just to play games? If so they just saved me a bunch of cash. I will stick w/ what I got now and wait on PS3 and the new N-cube and what ever else might come out. But I do not pay a monthly fee to play games I payed 50 bucks for. Which is another point they are saying games might jump to 60 or 70 base stating w/ these newer systems. Man that hurts.

yes.. but those are also checked and maintained on regular basis
Thats the biggets hurdle.. maintenance.. Most plastic tubing will slowly allow coolant to evaporate and leave.. slowly, but surely... however, there's stuff out there that won't do that (for any appreciable amount in a timespan in 5 years at least).. and stuff that won't rot and clog.. hence why your seeing water cooled stuff slowly appear straight from the factory to your avg end consumer now. Its just one more thing to worry about... (similar to air fans having to deal with dust and such).. But as long as you can convice me, the consumer, that I won't even have to think twice about how its cooled, as in I just plug it in and it works, who cares. Quote:

When you think about it though these are just design challenges. It's funny because we get to see who has worked out logistics in the easiest way for the consumer.

Yeah, I really can't wait to see the Nintendo Revolution (definitly won't be buying) and the Playstation 3 (considering) next week and compare them to the XBOX 360. This years E3 is going to be the best EVAR!
