PS3 Billboard in LA, hinting change is coming.

from looking at it, ofcourse its half of the controller symbols. (triangle) (Circle) (X) (Square), with "welcome change" under them with the number 3 on the letter E in change. gonna be interesting is all i can say.

I cant wait to see the design. I still dont think they will top the design of the PS2 and "Two" though.

yeah the ps2 and pstwo were both really slick. sony lately has been putting out some very sexy/sleek designs (including the psp), hopefully they continue to do so.

and pray that the ps3 is not pink white and red like that billboard

I personally did not like the ps2 design nor the xbox design or the gamecube design. I thought that neither of the 3 were very forward looking. The xbox360 design is rather interesting to say the least. I'm hoping that sony goes with the less living room entertainment center piece look and more with the forward looking space age aerodynamic look. A mini stealth bomber on steriods would be nice.

The same reason a bottle of ketchup needs to be aerodynamic...

It doesn't, but it looks and feels better than a square bottle you put in your fridge sideways and stack things on.

I hope they don't go slick and shiny looking, I want it to blend in with the rest of my stuff on the entertainment unit. Thats one thing that really pisses me off about the Xbox 360, its going to look out of place and really stick out, the only thing it matches is my walls... my floor is brown and all my furniture is wood...

i dunno about that, i thought the ps2 and pstwo designs were pretty dang nice. a aerodynamic console just seems/sounds like wasted space to me.

You say space age and didnt like the PS2's? Wow, They reaked space age to me. They look as if they were modeld from some SkyScrapers out of the future. My PS2, Dell LCD and Lian Li case are probably the the best looking equipment I have ever owned and I have alot.
