Yes but the XBox360 is not really just a gaming console like the DC. MS really is pushing the idea of it being a entertainment medium but it really doesnt match most peoples entertainment equipment or atleast mine.

That being said I just realized many new parts like Satellite boxes and new DVD players are coming only in a silver gray color so it may work. The trend it seems is moving away from black as being the choice color for entertainment equipment so MS might have thought about that color scheme more than we think.

Also these pics really do show off the color better so it may look better in person.

First thing that popped into my head was "What if the rumors of PS3 launching this year were correct?". Sony has said in the past that they were looking to give thier systems a 5 year lifespan... This year does make the PS2 two years old...

Honestly, I wouldn't be suprised at all... Sony is up to something... they are to god-dam quiet...

if anybody can keep somthing quiet its sony. it feels like the ps3 is some new stealth alien technology the government has, its about the blow our minds and we dont even know it. god the anticipation is killing me.

i dunno why but i think those ads are pretty pimp, doesnt give any info away, but we know exactly what its talking about, making us want more.

The change might be the Apple, Sony rumor (Link). I really doubt Sony will sway much from what has pretty much become there core business. The most change I see happening is a mouse wheel in the controller or something having to do with the controller because of those adds. The change might just be Blue-Ray adoption. I have a sneaky feeling the PS3 will look and act like there set-top boxes that failed in Japan.

As long as it doesn't cost as much as the PSX then we should be glad then, lol. It was a great device just too much for it. But I don't think the PS3 will do all that, it would need a pretty large HD and since I dout Sony would want to include a Blu-Ray recorder in the PS3.

Those face plates aren't very pretty. But considering those are only 2 of the countless hundreds that will come out...

And skins like those will probably come out too. Considering that most of the thing is white and made of the same texture almost, there should be skins like those comming out that cover more of the 360 than they did the normal Xbox
