Did you read the second part of the post you so aptly quoted? And besides that fact I was making a point as to how it would be very odd for a PC hardware site to have console gaming as its main focus and *PC gaming* to be nothing more than a frilly subforum. It doesn't matter anyway . . . said subforums are ridiculous and will more than likely not be created.

Something I've also noticed lately is there's a hella lotta hate brewing in this forum. Not that that's unusual but you do realize we are all gamers here and trying to differentiate ourselves by platform is just lame(even I am to blame for this). I know this sounds cliche', but please lets just all get along.

31\11, I think the people have spoken

Im real sorry, but I dont play consoles that often, and I dont own any. Im sure the better half of the users here are the same way (since this is a PC Hardware site...).

As to causing confusion with multiplatform games, that doesnt make any sense at all. Because of the nature of this site (PC Hardware) its safe to say that if theres a general thread about Battlefield 2 (for console or PC), most people here are going to be interested in the PC side of it. So... post it in the gaming forum, not the console sub forum.

Also, If theres 3 dozen threads about the PC version of BF2, wouldnt you rather go directly to the console forum for info if you dont even have the PC version? It works both ways too of course, but since this IS a PC Hardware site, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that the console games should be in the sub forum, rather than the PC games.

Just another 2 cents from me

EDIT: BTW,
"Another favorite forum because we rely on leading-edge games to justify our purchase of expensive computer hardware!"
That is the description of the Gaming forum at the main forum index. It kinda speaks for itself I'd say

I consider this site to cater to the PC enthusiast, so please keep all the console stuff separate in its own little sub-forum.. Yes, I know. I'm lazy...

thx
