The fan on my asus A8N SLI died last week, I got the replacment from Asus yeaterday it was easy to install and is almost silent compared to that other POS. I just hope this one lasts longer than the 3 weeks the other one took to die

I just ordered my replacement yesterday. They said I'd receive it in a week here in Canada, is that estimate reliable or should I stick to multiplying that figure by 3?

I just hope the new fan is quiet. My machine makes so much noise I have to turn it off sometimes.

No, it should be pretty reasonable to get it in a week. The new fan has far less whine and zing to it, if that makes sense.
