Default The Games of PlayStation 3: Uncovered

ign has a good read on the development of ps3 games.. "Everything we know about Sony's upcoming software lineup. More than 30 titles in all!"

i hope this thread can steer clear of any fanboy'ism comments, and actually have some productive ones

games that interest me most:
Avalon (X360/PS3)
Omikron 2 (X360/PS3)
"Untitled Rockstar Old West Project" (PS3)

MGS/Killzone/tekken franchise are rather "meh" to me

Eyedentify could be neat if they make the camera a lot better than Eye Toy (I'm gonna sell mine cuz I can never get enough light for it to work right)

also i made a link to upcoming x360 games to go along with this one:

Interesting that they're bringing back Omikron, given that the first game wasn't particularly well recieved. I'm most looking forward to Warhawk though, I can't believe they're making a new one. Although on that same note, I was hoping to hear about a few next-gen games that didn't turn up, like a new Panzer Dragoon, or a remake of FF7 (since they made a tech demo based off of it). But regardless, there are a bunch of very interesting titles on that list, looks like I have a lot to look forward to (although I'm still not so sure if I'll get any of the consoles at launch).

Oh, and is there a list like this for the Xbox 360? I didn't see it on IGN's page.

MGS4, DMC4, Tekken 6, Killzone, Warhawk 2, Omikron 2, Any Final Fantasy, Heavenly Sword, Mobil Suit Gundam, Ni-Oh and Rockstar's Game...

It still slim pickings compared to the 360 but some classics like Warhawk and MGS will keep me busy... Hell if they have a Final Fantasy title by launch i will cream my pants...

Quote:
"We don't know much, but Sony promises that "Grand Theft Auto Next" will be a PS3 launch title. This information comes from some people at the Sony E3 2005 press conference currently in progress, but we've yet to confirm the report with our own editors.
We're hoping to high heaven that we'll get to see snippets of the game in the coming days."
