Composite video for TVOut not working at all using later drivers
I have a machine in which I have an NVidia GeForce 4 MX4000-based card installed. Driver version 6111 works just fine with it, only I have to sepcifically tell it when I have a composite monitor plugged in. If I don't specify it, the driver fails to automatically detect whether I'm using S-Video or composite, then assumes S-Video, giving me a black and white screen.
The line in question is: Option "TVOutFormat" "COMPOSITE"
Anything later than 6111, if I do not put the line above in, as before, it will fail to detect that I'm using composite, assuming S-Video, giving me a black and white picture. The moment I put the line in, TVOut stops working entirely. And no, I don't even have the offending lines talking about attached monitor.
I've attached my debug and installation logs for perusal.
For what it's worth, I've been able to duplicate the effect on several machines exactly with that very card.
For what it's worth, my needs for this machine are very simple. I need video out since all I ever do with this machine is screen anime, which is why I bought a GF4 MX4000 rather than a GF FX5200. Besides, this machine only has PCI slots.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Composite video for TVOut not working at all using later drivers
I second this post with some modifications.
All is fine with driver 6629 but when I upgraded to 7676 my tvout was just black and white.
I do have the line in my xorg.conf
Option "TVOutFormat" "COMPOSITE"
