That would be really poor if that turned out to be true. Would give XBOX360 the obvious technology edge for sure (again) since X360 will include a 20gb upgradable HD.

Um both systems lack a built in hard drive, they both are using removable HDs that come included with the system (atleast as far as we know).

lol. The article says no hard drive to be bundled with PS3.

The XBOX360 comes bundled with a 20gb hard drive.

The article was from a single person who did not say yes or no but rather a dout. Remember when Ken Kutaragi (at that time president of Sony) went out about the defects in the PSP and that people would have to "deal" with it... oh what happened next, Sony said they would fix/replace any defective units...

Just because one member of Sony says something doesn't mean the entire company agrees...

I think Sony will sell it separately as a way bring down cost and even make a little by over priceing it. But then again there trying to out do MS in everything so I wouldnt be surprised if it shipped with a 40GB HD.

What about when Kutaragi said the Emotion Engine would obsolete the home PC, and simulate real human emotions?

and you steeda don't buy Microsoft's hype? I've read everything you've said about the ps3, and I have to confess that you've gotten me to ignore all the hype surrounding the ps3 ( and the xbox360 as well). But why do you all continue to fight for "your" console? I mean what have sony or microsoft ever done for you, other than made you buy their product(which they've hyped and never lived up to?)?... Let's just all wait for both of the consoles to be released first before the fist-fights start, ok?

The only console I currently like is Xbox 1. I honestly haven't paid much attention to the X360 yet other than what Ruined has posted...

Microsoft hasn't said anything utterly lame like "phenomena inside the computer" or "age SD into HD" to get me going on them. =)

It seems like if they want the PS3 to be a media center type device that they should provide a fairly large hard drive.
