Default Kernel 2.6.13

Hi,
I just installed a new kernel (2.6.13) and I'm not able to build the nvidia driver with this new kernel. I use the same config as with the 2.6.12 kernel, but the installer always crashes.
I've attaches my nvidia-installer.log, can anybody help me?
thanks in advance,
Capsad

EDIT: I forgot to mention, that I use Ubuntu - newest version 5.04 with a self-made kernel.

This looks like a problem with your kernel source tree; please make sure it's properly configured.

2.6.13-gentoo working great here.. definitely looks like a source tree problem.. have you actually compiled this kernel yet, or just unpacked and pointed the symlink at the tree?

Hi,
I've compiled the kernel and it's running fine si far. I've unpacked the sources to /usr/srs/linux-2.6.13/ and I have a symlink (/usr/src/linux), which points to the source tree.
Any suggestions?

@Capsad:
did you made a 'make oldconfig'?

If yes, this could be your problem.

There is the new CONFIG_Hz option in .13 and if you do not set it, it may make problems.
From a look into your log, it seems that this is correct - you should do a make menuconfig and set CONFIG_Hz (whereever it is) to 250 (or 1000, or 100)

Hi,
now it works! I think it's because i stopped one time during the compilation process the program "make-kpkg" - which is the debian program for kernel compilation, and I forgot to execute "make-kpkg clean" afterwards, nevertheless I now did that and recompiled the kernel and everything works fine :-) Thanks for your help,
Capsad
