BFV was made by a completly different team than bd/bf2. BF 2 is made by the swedes, and its based on the desert combat concept. It should be nothing like bfv, whichw as made by the canadian division, and was severely unbalanced. BF:V is a good game outside of the balance issues.

Hrm... I wonder if this game is going to lag big time @ my screen's native resolution (1920x1200).

It does at first glance, but BF1942 has about a tenth of the polygons of that scene. In 1942 the terrain is like pyramids. Plus the ground textures are more varried in that picture, and the gun is very detailed.

Its not the most interesting picture, for sure... but whats there looks good to me. The whole game cant be full of magazine-cover-worthy action shots.

Even Battlefield 1942 looks great at 1920x1440 w/ 6xAA and 16xAF (I should know ). Anyways, what im saying is that the screenshot would look 100 times better with AA and AF. I also doubt it was running at max graphical settings.

Update: Sam Parker (Product Manager, GameCenter) has just posted on the GameSpot Forums, saying that the demo will not be released today (June 8th). "I've been saying we'll have some news about the demo plans soon. Now make that very very soon. As much as possible, we announce demo plans in advance of an actual release."
