I have on the system in my sig all setting set to high except for shadows on medium. NO AA in game But I have 4x AA and 8xAS in the nvidia CP. When you guys say your running with AA on do you mean in game or out or both?

Hmmm, I don't have any stuttering issues. (w00t!) Nice to finally be on the working side of things....I had the stuttering bug in half-life 2, but have recently found out lowering one setting, textures, to medium, takes all HL2 stuttering away, so you may want to try something like that in BF2. Seems some of you already have and discovered it helps. =)

I wasn't able to enabled AA with my 5.6 cat's, had to use the 5.1's that the demo says to use, that made AA work, but I do get the odd looking shadows casted by other soldiers when running by, with the 5.1's (didn't get this with the 5.6's) but I NEED aa/af, so I can live with a few distorted shadows.

Running max settings for everything, 1280x960 4xAA 16xAF works beautifully, aside from the odd looking shadow here and there. Things are well above 60fps most of the time, so I might get ballsy later and try 1600x1200 2xaa 8xaf and see how well that does. =)

Still can't get over the performance of this card for $299. I may just end up keeping it yet, rather than sell it and grab a x850xt until the r520 comes available in mass quantity. This little son of a gun fly's.

There are a lot other games i can play....

From the screenshots this game is like Black Hawk Down, but only multiplayer. I'd rather play UT2004 and have hell of fun
Why then post?

LOL unfair my rear. I guess it's unfair when someone else has a nicer ping than me to then?
Eh.. Just because one game 1 years ago supported WS, doesn't mean it's standard does it? If a single game applies a new technology, the technology doesn't neccesarily break through just because of that? Or did I miss something here?

It's probably a driver issue (although maybe it's the game's fault). A lot of us had that issue on the nvidia side as well but it was fixed with the drivers they bundled with the demo. It's interesting that it happens with an ATI system also.

Yeah you're missing the fact that CS:S, Doom3/ROE, and FarCry also support it just fine.

But anyway, there's a workaround for it apparently. To bad it isn't just a menu option.

Does the game support SLI? I'm playing at 1600x1200 w/ 4xAA 8xAF with amazing speed. The only problem is that lighting MUST be set at medium, if its set to high I get stuttering regardless of resolution. That may be whats causing the crappy shadows. I can't play now though, another lightning storm is headed this way.

Does anyone else get the bug where if you walk in to an object (like a wall for example) you get stuck and can't move? You have to keep fiddling until you can move again, which may take up to 20 secs!
