no stuttering - no bugs except for the video settings panel is a bit buggy and does'nt always do what you ask.

looks fantastic - plays very well

77.60 drivers/BETA Audigy2 drivers.

smoother than a baby's arse.

Once I found my class (specialist) I was sneaking into a control point, taking out two or three enemies, and capturing it, by my self. I've been playing for 4 hours, the game is just a blast to play. For me, this is a must have.

Also, the shadows look awful on my X800XT. It only seems to be the dynamic shadows, not the ones cast by the trees or building. It's almost like they are made up of large blocks.
shadows and all else are looking fantastic here??

and I agree on the gameplay - its gonna be huge this game.

cant wait for the full version and a few updates/patches.

There are a lot other games i can play....

From the screenshots this game is like Black Hawk Down, but only multiplayer. I'd rather play UT2004 and have hell of fun

Well, i just finished playing it and it was a fun, graphics are great!
But the only thing that drives me crazy is the loading time and lag. I would be flying a plane over the city and it picture would skip, skip, skip, then next thing I know i'm flying into the ground. It was fun though, and I'm considering if 2x1GB will actually help alot more.
BTW: i was playing with everything maxed out and resolution at 1280x960 with 4xAA and 8xAF.

the reason for the lag is not enough ram..it's the AA that's killing/making the lag...especially when you look @ buildings with 4xAA, it skips' pause for a sec like a mofo...turning my AA down from 4x to 2x killed most of the stuttering..turning off AA gave smooth as hell gameplay @ 1600x1200 0xAA/16xAF max every single thing. This is with a 6800ultra/a64 btw...

I love EA sports games. Tiger Woods Golf is the best golf game ever made period. Madden Football and NBA Live are a couple more of my favorites and they get better every year. As for uninstalling drivers when was the last time you got a demo with updated drivers for your video card. Pretty impressive if you ask me.

I will agree with UT2004 being better though. Onslaught simply rules all other online battle games.

Just D/L at the moment... ( all the servers are maxed out here in UK, took me 10 mins to get a connection ).

1st Question:- Is it better/on par/worst than Joint Ops ?
From the pics posted so far, it seems to be lacking.

2nd Question:- Is it a SM3 game that finally takes advantage of all this GPU hardware i have ?

thnx in advance.

Played my first full 64 player game right now, The game rocks. Its smooth as hell and looks great. I personally never liked the originals due to the maps always having such open spaces but I love this. The map offers room for vehicle and foot combat. Great balance, I like the squad system but it sucks when your leader doesn't do **** and most of the squad is all over the map.

The only issue's I have so far are the shadows and sound problems. The shadows were fixed with the included drivers but im having some serious audio problems. When in software mode (default) I get tons of popping and when in hardware mode the sound just goes crazy, like all the sounds are playing at once, I can't hear my own gun fire. Im guessing this is do to me using my onboard audio and not a creative based card. Guess I should invest in one...

I'm actually only having one single issue, that the game menu often freeze for periods of 5-10 seconds while, especially when brining up the menu to disconnect during a game or browse the online games to join.. Pretty frustrating, but when I'm in it's all smooth and I think the game is awesome
