This map is not graphically impressive, in fact it just exacerbates all the problems with the current Doom 3 renderer (lack of proper materials light interaction being the most obvious).

50.8fps @1600x1200,4xAA,8xAFHQ on 7800GTX SLI/FX-55.
didnt imagine the CPU will impact the score like this!

Yeah, that helped you quite a bit.

BTW, that's the same thing (50.8fps) I'm getting using the same settings.

With tertsi's mod enabled (with the settings I like), I get 39.3fps.

I just ran it and posted my results. Doesn't look like it takes advantage of the X2 and that's a little disappointing. I thought I was going smoke you but ended up a little slower.

Edit: Oops, it wasn't stock though. I'll try that now.

1600x1200 4xAA/High quality (so 8x aniso) with no performance opts=47.8. Awesome. As I recall, the Warhorse only pulled mid 20s at 1280x1024 2xAA/ High quality.

I won't be able to check until I get home tonight. I haven't tried it yet but in Doom 3, my framerate increased about 10fps or so.

It's about the same improvement I saw when just running the D3 timedemo (+10fps) and +8.2fps with the VIA benchmark.

Via bench, 1600x1200, 4xAA/8xAF, HQ, single-core, 52.9 fps
Via bench, 1600x1200, 4xAA/8xAF, HQ, dual-core, 61.1 fps

Edit: Looking back at my previous results in this thread, looks like I got 50.8fps with the 78.xx drivers.

on 81.84 @1600x1200,4xAA,8xAFHQ = 54.5 fps!
