The development kits exists so you can make an educated statement on which is easier to develop for since the dev kits are what you develop on, not the system.

As for R300, It was not new tech, it was taking existing technology, nothing was really new in it other then new features added. Unified Pipelines is 100% new, no developer has ever messed with it untill now, no one knows how well it will preform since it never existed till now.

Ever since the Geforce 2 GPUs basically were all the same, just different features and power but the structure were the same, you had pixel pipelines and vertex pipelines, each had a dedicated function and would not get in the way of eachother.

I don't know why you brought up ports and listed titles... I never said the PS2 didn't have them. I just stated that the PS2 has original titles, alot more then the Xbox has. And Kotor did have a port... TO THE PC!

Take a look. From the people that really know! Of course some of them may have agendas, but lots of opinions about all three consoles.

Yeah, way it looks like is that the PS3 will be the most powerful according to them but the true potential will take awhile to be achieved in most development groups except for the most experianced (Konami, Square, Epic). The 360 looks to be the most rounded, great graphics and potentially easiest to reach its peak.

Revolution is last since its an unknown factor... Nintendo needs get on the ball and start hyping it.

Few of them had anything bad to say about the Revolution. Quite on the contrary they thought it was exciting waiting to see what crazy idea they have come up with.
