seems they released it but im kind of dissapointed, its not even a loader, its a swap trick that requires 2 memory sticks. it works but its kinda hard, you gotta swap it real fast. well ****, maybe ill buy a 1.0 psp on ebay one day or somthing :/

Yay for Sony! I hope they release another manditory update to lock this "hack", F Homebrew... It leads to piracy (main reason for the loader anyway).

Man that sucks... maybe we will have a better way soon. I was thinking how awesome it was going to be to be playing Super Mario Bros. 3 on my PSP and stuff

yeah, well it still works fine and all, its just way more work than i expected we would have to do just to run a homebrew app like a emulator. i figured it would be a loader where you select the loader on the psp and then select the homebrew application you want to run, but with all this you gotta have 2 memory sticks and swap them everytime you want to play a homebrew app.
![]() but yeah, hopefully we will have a better way soon.

you dont really need 2x512, you could have 1 stick being 32 holding the loader, and the 2nd stick being larger like 512 with the emulators + all the roms...
http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/unofficialsnes9xpsp.shtml is probaly the best snes emulator, you can actually run the game at psp's full 333mhz instead of the default psp speed.(warning on the full speed though many have not had any problems running for hours at full speed) they released a new version yesterday that is fullscreen but i dont know how that is, havent tried yet. there is also a homebrew app of doom and doom2 which is pretty cool ![]() http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/doompsp.shtml version v.01 so caution, might be buggy i recommend checking psphacker.com and that site above for more info on them.

Sounds good, only reason why I said to have 2x512 memory sticks would be good is to umm...be able to still store plenty of my misc. videos ya know
also store plenty of mp3s and home ripped DVD movies as well. ahh the PSP in all its glory!

Finally a 1.5 exploit... I was very skeptical myself since there have been so many fakes.
Don't upgrade your firmware, Sony already fixed the exploit. Its only a matter of time before we start seeing games that say "you must upgrade your firmware to play" etc. Careful with those emulators, I read about a couple of people bricking their PSPs by running in 333 mhz (which is probably the real reason that Sony set them to 222, battery life had nothing to do with it).
