He works at PCClub, a computer store, so stores got the cards before today so they can start selling them today.

A member here wanted me to test the bloodyrayne demo at a 1280x960 resolution. Here are the results, as you can see, at this resolution, I hit a CPU bottleneck. Please keep in mind I don't know his exact specs... (the results above are his FPS's)

Single Card
1280x960 0xAA/0xAF
88 fps

Single Card
1280x960 4xAA/16xAF
90 fps

SLI
1280x960 0xAA/0xAF
87 fps

SLI
1280x960 4xAA/16xAF
84 fps
Impressive !!!!!!!!!!
Outstanding !!!!!!!!

No more questions for me, let's order the card !!!!

Thank you very much for the numbers

Have been reading more reviews and the diferences in Doom3 between the NV40 and G70 can be even greater. Diferent levels have diferent performance.. this is more noticeable in farcry outdoors vs indoors where in some levels the Nv40 is faster and the X8oo's in others. when benchmarking a game.. it needs to be done in 2-3 levels that re-present the best that can be found in graphics in that game for a more clear picture of the performance there. i sugest.. Doom3:ROE . it have more polished graphics. than the original game.

I think we will have to wait for Quake4 to see the G70 shine in the D3 engine.

Has anyone (in the reviews) been trying the via doom 3 map? It's much tougher on the cards so maybe a bigger difference would show up there. I haven't had a chance to read any of them yet.

haha i cant imagine how hard it is to hold in the fact that you already have two 7800gtx's on this forum. i would go insane cause i would want to tell someone so badly.

next thing to do is get an FX-57, then we can see what those cards can really do hehe.

first time i was in this forum i was impressed by your rig, and i still am today. crazy, heh.

No not FX 57, it need to get Athlon 64 X2 4800+ and wait for Forceware 80 to give up to 30% performance boost on dual core.
