Hi,
Just registered here. I have a pci-e motherboard but not a SLI motherboard. I saw there are new cards that are sli on one card basically one card with two cores I was wondering if you needed an sli motherboard to run one card with dual cores or if one normal pci-e slot would do? Thank you. ( I asked this here because I'm looking into 2 6800 gt's, 7800's are too expensive ) |

I believe that any motherboard with a PCI-E x16 slot is sufficient. Here is a current review of the latest offering from ASUS:
