Default Re: Favorite OS of all-time.

I really did'nt have to much problems with any of them ,I liked Me which was just 98se with some extras ,but I like it because I did'nt have to mess with activation, and I could do a clean install anytime i wanted and knowing I did'nt have to mess with a 48 digit code or ever how many it is with XP.BUt in windows XP I had it stable as hellll and new how to fix most anything that did go wrong ,I still see no use for Vista ,to me it is full of bloatware and games harder to run ,but it is getting better. One of these days I put my Vista back in ,I think I try the 64bit version next time since I have'nt never played with it yet and I had all of them since last January.

Old operating systems never die; they just get put in a window.

My favorite "of all time" would probably be OS/2. The stuff it did in 1993 was akin to magic for me. In fact I have had a personal OS/2 revival of sorts, after 10 years away from it I have it set up in a virtual machine and I use it for casual web surfing and IRC. It can't get a virus, it can't get spyware, and it is too dead for anyone to bother. Seamonkey and Firefox are current. I have no idea why.
