Question ASUS V8420 and mandrake9 question

I would like to install linux on this pc with an asus v8420 (gf4 ti4200), i went on mandrake website to see the HCL if my card was compatible and it's not
My question is: If i install the nvidia drivers will it works even if it's not in the mandrake compatibility list ?

And 2nd question what are the difference between
Linux IA32 Display Drivers
Linux IA64 Display Drivers
Linux AMD64 Drivers

Thx hope someone can help me out

Your card is fully supported by the NVIDIA driver under Mandrake 9.0.

The difference between the IA32, IA64, and AMD64 is the architecture they're targeted for. IA32 refers to Pentium (I - IV), AMD Athlon, etc. IA64 refers to Intel's Itanium and Itanium II processors. AMD64 refers to AMD's Hammer chips. You'll want the IA32 driver.

If you're unsure of which files to download, please use NVchooser.sh from the driver download page.
