glxgears very slow
glxgears is returning terrible performance for me.
751 frames in 5.0 seconds = 150.200 FPS
839 frames in 5.0 seconds = 167.800 FPS
831 frames in 5.0 seconds = 166.200 FPS
Before installing the new Driver without 3D turned on
I got better results with glxgears although nothing to brag
1320 frames in 5.0 seconds = 264.000 FPS (without 3D turned on)
However, all 3D apps etc. seem to be working well.
I replaced my Matrox Millenium 400 with an nvidia 5200
VGA ASUS V9520-X/TD/128 card and then ran a comparison.
The Matrox returned reasonable glxgears performance and a friend
was getting much better results with his 5200 which is why I decided
to try one. Attached is the nvidia-bug-report.log.zip.
If it is possible to fix this I would appreciate any advise on how.
