Oke I have a problem with the tvout on my gf2.
Setup: gf2 with a crt monitor and a tv on the tvout. I have just done a kernel upgrade 2.6.10 -> 2.6.12.3 and also a NVIDIA upgrade 6629 -> 7667. Before (kernel:2.6.10 nvidia 6629) the tv-out perfect. But after the upgrade the tv-out part is broken. With the new setup the first time I tried the old config. I got an error: " (EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration." I found there is 1 option which causes the problem: "Option "ConnectedMonitor" "CRT, TV" ". After commenting this out I can use the new driver but not my tvout ![]() Does anyone know how I can use my tvout with the new kernel/driver? thanks |

Hi. I have the same problem with an nForce integrated GF2MX. Tv-out worked fine with the "nv" driver, but that doesn't give me any 3D-acceleration...
With the new driver I have NEVER manages to get ANY picture onto the TV... Do you have something figure out by now? regards Kim |

I finally got a display on the TV by unpluging my CRT from the card and then booting up the machine. I tried every setup possible (with, w/o twinview), but I can not get more out of the TV than a picture that has the wrong timings (scrambled stuff). Maybe someone can suggest a good 768x576 PAL modeline... I tried ripping the modeline from NVTV that I used with the "nv" driver, but that didn't work neither...
