Laptop Toshiba TV Out
I try to use the TV-Out of my laptop Toshiba Satellite 5000.
I read many tips and Howto, but I don't succeed in to make it works with XFree.
When I use the toshset utility in text mode, the TV-Out works, so I think it's a problem with nvidia driver.
I made two server layout and I start X with the following command :
startx -- -layout TV
When I run startx with the TV connected, the TV is not detected by X (see nvidia-bug-report.log_1.txt.zip for the log).
So, I tried with the ConnectedMonitor string to force the TV
Option ConnectedMonitor "TV,DFP"
This time, X crashes and says that there is no usable screen (see nvidia-bug-report.log_2.txt.zip for the log)
(--) NVIDIA(0): Interlaced video modes are not supported on this GPU
(II) NVIDIA(0): Detected AGP rate: 4X
(--) NVIDIA(0): VideoRAM: 32768 kBytes
(II) NVIDIA(0): Using ConnectedMonitor string "DFP-0, TV-0"
(II) UnloadModule: "nvidia"
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.
Fatal server error:
no screens found
I will go crazy with this TV-Out
Is anybody has an idea ?
Thanks for your help,
