Question [RESOLVED][FX4400] wrong res. with 30" apple monitor, unable to switch to 2560x1600

I'm trying to drive 30inch apple monitor with a PNY FX4400 card and get some difficulties to switch to 2560x1600 resolution. Actually it's works only to 1280x1024 res.

OS is RED HAT Enterprise Linux Workstation V4 / X is Xorg 6.8.2

Here is the xorg log :

I don't know why I get the error : Not using mode "2560x1600" (bad mode clock/interlace/doublescan)

Normally, FX4400 can drive apple monitor at 2560x1600@60Hz. So may be something is missing in my configuration.....

Default Re: [FX4400] wrong res. with 30" apple monitor, unable to switch to 2560x1600

The driver doesn't like the modeline for the screen. Thought that there were previous posts about this screen containing correct modelines. Try searching for those as I don't have a correct modeline for it. (some tricks are needed to create a correct modeline for this baby)

Thumbs up Re: [FX4400] wrong res. with 30" apple monitor, unable to switch to 2560x1600

Ok it's work.....

Problem was only a bad modeline

correct modeline for Apple 30" monitor is :
Modeline "2560x1600" 268.000 2560 2608 2648 2720 1600 1603 1609 1646 -HSync +Vsync
