Default Best 90mm case fan

What's the absolute best 90mm fan out there. I don't care about noise at all. I'm gonna replace the stock thermaltake fan on my case that blows directly over the general video card area. Since I'm gonna be running SLI i want to make sure my cards get good air flow in there. Thanks for any help.

http://www.coolerexpress.com/vantorfan80c.html

Vantec Tornado Double Ball-Bearing Fan
4800 RPM
119 CFM
56.4 dB(A)

But it will blow your brains out , better invest in water cooling kit.

Gah! Those Tornado fans move a ton of air, but they literally sound like your own little jet engine. If noise is absolutely not an issue, then go with them. But if you need to be able to hear, I would suggest something a little less extreme.

Heh yeah I read some stuff up on the vantec tornado. Good fan but I think this the one that crosses the line of too loud for me. I'm not like most people who need like pure silence.... but still this is way too much. I'd even think about getting a fan controller but Thermaltake Soprano's front bay cover won't close with knobs sticking out...

Anyways, currently I'm thinking of getting the Thermaltake 90mm BLUE led fan which does about 4000RPM. I have a 120mm fan of the same series and I'm very happy with it. Didn't realize til now that these thermaltake fans are some of the fastest.

Do you need an 80mm or a 92mm?

92mm, Soprano has 2x120's (front and back) and 1 90mm on the side.

my 92 mm

JMC/DATECH
DS9238-12HBTL-A

works pretty well. It has more CFM than the Vantec Tornado (about 130 cfm), at about the same max noise levels .. At idle its relatively quiet(my PCP&C 425 deluxe is louder), but it sure is loud at full blast. Its rated at 2.0 amps! So thats a 24 watt draw at max power.. lol

Dell may have only put one fan on the faster 8300, but they made sure it was mother of a fan. (they come integrated with a temp sensor/speed controller)

Oh, my previous fan, NMB 3612KL-04-B66 was very nice and quiet.. esepcially with my stock power supply.. at idle, I sometimes forgot my computer was on and mistakenly turned off my computer cause I thought it was off.. A little note to some Dell users out there that are struggling with an older noiser fan..

nexus (yate-loon) real silent case fan (92 or 120mm) is hands-down the best.
