Default A Couple of Benchmarks with the eVGA 7800 GT in Gentoo Linux

I took a couple of quick benchmarks in Linux, all done on the highest quality the game offers at 1024x768 resolution. Each benchmark is done with the games first demo.

System Specs:
CPU: Athlon 64 3500+
Memory: 1gig DDR400
Motherboard: ASUS A8N-SLI Premium
Graphics Card: eVGA 7800 GT 256VRAM
SoundCard: Soundblaster Audigy 2 Platinum
Kernel: Gentoo-2.6.12-r9 x86_64

Doom III: 70.4
Quake III Arena: 323.6
Counter Strike Source(via cedega): 89.7
GLXGears: 14899.2

I would of done Enemy-Territory and Call of Duty(via cedega) but I dont have any timedemos for them, if someone would like me to just link me to the demo and ill do it.

You benchmark a 7800GT in 1024x768???

How about using 1600x1200 and also tell what FSAA/AF settings and which timedemo you are using?

forget the benchmarks, how did u install that in gentoo?

an older version of nvidia is all that seems to be available
in the stable packages.

did u allow unstable, and if so did u allow all or just nvidia
packages.

i am using 2.6.12-r6 kernel with a 4800 x2 on a vapochill ls
running at 2.75 GHz (tested stable under xp x64 with the
64 bit version of prime95 running once for each cpu simultaneously.)
and i have dual bfg 7800 gtx oc cards, so as soon as i get this
running, im not upgrading for about 5 years!

anyway, any help would be appreciated. i might soon try
putting this in the /etc/portage/package.keywords file

media-video/nvidia-glx
media-video/nvidia-kernel
app-admin/eselect-opengl
app-admin/eselect

of course i don't know what to do after that, exactly.
obviously this is bleeding edge and there aren't instructions
for life, but come on, im gonna post this a couple places
and i bet someone has an idea and would like to have
some benchmarks.

update: i just tried the edits of the package.keywords file
and emerge -s nvidia immediately finds the latest version
it only installed after i put app-admin/eselect-opengl
and app-admin/eselect in unstable as well though.
now im gonna see if anything works...
