Hi,
I'm having problems with my Sun W2100Z workstation using Fedora Core 2 (32bits) and NVidia drivers. Hardware AMD Opteron 250 Processor 4Gb RAM HD 73Gb SCSI NVIDIA Quadro NVS280 2x Sun Flat Panel If I use xorg default driver, I can start the xserver without problems in one monitor, but if I use nvidia driver, I receive blank screen. I tested the configuration with nvidia 61xx, 66xx, 77xx series, and nothing happing. If I use the RHEL3 64bits and nvdia 66xx series all work fine. The problem is that I need to run some programs in 32bits enviroment. Can some one help? Allan |

Allan,
Have you tried using RHEL3 32bit? Fedora Core 2 is significantly different from RHEL3, so its quite possible that you'll see very different results. Can you generate and post an nvidia-bug-report.log from the system while X is not working (by telnet/sshing in)? Thanks, Lonni |
