Exclamation Random Freeze

I am running SuSE Linux 9.3 with a GeForce FX card. Every tie I boot, I can get into KDE, but when I try to DO something, it freezes (nonresponive, some redblue stripes in various places, must press power button) Any ideas Please? By the way, I got the same problem in Windows, but it was at random points, not at start-up.

*EDIT I just realised I posted this in the wrong forum. Sorry.

*Edit 2 The problem has evolved. I now can do a little when booting, but it will eventually happen, not long enough to get anything done.
