I need help. I am running SUSE 9.3 and trying to set up a dual head sysem with a PNY (nVidia) GeForce 6600 AGP 8X. As I load the new operating system it works ok but when I test it in Sax the video shows only 256 colors and no mouse pointer (if I move the mouse the buttons light up but there is no pointer).
Also Sax will not let me set up dual monitors it states that there is ont a dual monitor system present. Can any one help a newbie? |

eboatman,
You'll need to provide alot more information: 0) How did you install/setup the nvidia driver? 1) Please post an nvidia-bug-report.log 2) Are you trying to setup TwinView and/or Xinerama? Please see the NVIDIA driver README for instructions on how to setup TwinView: /usr/share/doc/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0/README.txt Thanks, Lonni |
