Default Trouble with nForce

I got an Nvidia nForce integrate soundcard, it's a Realtek AC'97 CK804 with chipset ACL850 rev0.

It works pretty good, but I never get rid of the mic: it's mute no matter what I try.

I tried to install new nForce drivers, but the installer told me it couldn't find the kernel source even if there is.

I'm running a Slackware10.1 with kernel 2.4.29.

Can you help me out, pals?
Thank you.
