You mean this?

And yeah, a Geforce 2 wont work for Oblivion, I guarantee it. Its not that itl just run slow, it doesnt support any features that the game will be using. Battlefield 2 doesnt even support anything lower than a Geforce *4*, let alone a Geforce 2, 3 or 4MX.

Its a shame really... some of those will still be "fast enough" for a while but they just lack the features that game designers want to use. Oh well... itl push the technology forward, so its all good.

Oblivion will use 48 bit HiLo high dynamic range rendering (partially supported since GeForce3, but fully usable as feature from GeFroceFX / Radeon 9500 ); plus from developer quotes we know that it will use normal mapping and offset mapping

I don't think there will be a fallback path for anything below PS1.4, just like BF2. Offset + normal mapping can be done fairly fast in a single pass under PS 1.4 (which is also the better render path for NV3x cards) and it's likely that HDR can be activated at will.

Besides these speculation, we've one developer which said that his computer had a 9800Pro with 256MB of RAM which would indicate that performance on this card is adeguate

Enjoy it.

Ridiculous DOES not have an 'e' in it. It comes from "ridicule" and has less than nothing to do with the colour red.

I decided to take some screen shots of Morrowind with all the improvements that people have made. It just looks amazing considering the game originally came out 3 1\2 years ago.

I think both shots have 4xAA on, but I was messing with settings a lot so it could be 2x. All settings are maxed, 16xAF, 1600x1200 with a very high draw distance set (obviously). Anyone who has played this game knows that Balmora (the city pictured) is extremely slow. My framerate is visible at the lower right hand corner... and its not bad at all considering im running with 3x the normal draw distance at a really high res with lots of AA\AF.
