Default FreeBSD 5.4 Release and 6800 GT

I successfully installed the driver and changed the xorg.conf from "nv" to "nvidia". When I do startx I dont see the Nvidia logo, but KDE does load. The colors are very grainy and the resolution doesnt look right. If I change the xorg.conf back to "nv" KDE loads and the colors/resolution are really crisp and clear. Any ideas as to whats going on?

Thanks,

Brian

Default Re: FreeBSD 5.4 Release and 6800 GT-Fixed

I figured it out. It was the Defaultdepth line in the xorg.conf was missing. I added it, got the nvidia splash screen, and the drivers are working now.
