Default Switching from CRT to Apple 30" (and driving a second display)?

I'm in the middle of switching out Intergraph 23" CRTs with Apple 30" LCDs for a project I work on, as parts for the CRTs are impossible to get. I also have to drive a 640x480 LCD secondary display at the same time.

Here's the xorg.conf portions, with the old lines commented out.
(This is a transliteration, so there may be typos that aren't in the original.)

This will draw the Apple display by itself, but when I try to connect both displays, neither draws.

(Obviously, it worked OK before for the CRT and the LCD, using a Quadro FX 3400 or the Quadro FX 4400.)

I appreciate any help!

jdonigan,
Please generate and attach an nvidia-bug-report.log.

Also, have you tried creating a separate Monitor section for your smaller LCD? Can you drive just the smaller LCD without the Apple attached?

thanks,
Lonni

I'll do it Monday, as I'm out of town tomorrow, thanks!

Note that you need dual-link DVI for that resolution. Your quadros probably have it, though.

His hardware is fine. I've personally run an Apple 30" display (at its highest native resolution, which I vaguely remember to be something like 2560x1600) + another DFP at 1280x1024 on an FX4400 without any problems.
