WineX 2.2.1 vs Wine 20021219
The new wine seems to have optimized Direct3D. Has anyone used both? I would really like to know if the new Wine supports games that WineX doesn't because I'm currently dual booting(although i hardly ever use windows) only for Command & Conquer: Renegade and that game needs Direct3D.

If you look at my tutorial it uses the latest WineX (from CVS). Try that, it might work but I haven't tried C&C: Renegade

The working rating is 0 in WineX's games list. However, there was a person who said that he could run it when he installed it in Windows.
