My GTX SLi Roxors F.E.A.R. MP Demo's Boxors!!! well I like the demo, its rather cool! And I must say the fps are better across than on SP demo. Me likey and me gettin' da game when it be out.

Problem fixed .. for some reason the texture res was reseting itself to medium no matter what. i restarted the game 2 times & messed around the options & now its fixed wierd
EDIT : found the reason .. its enabling softshadows. seems to be a bug for both nV & ATi cards.

anyway its great .. i fragged my friends in LAN 3 times in a row mwahahaha n00bs!

I tried the demo, it was ok. However the movement just didnt seem smooth and the gameplay wasent that fun. Like CSS bettr than it i hate to say.

It mentions in the README that you have to turn off AA to use soft shadows so maybe that was the problem.

No its a problem when you enable the SS .. yes i know i have to keep AA off when i use it.
i can make a screenshots comparsion if you like.

also i notice a very bad performance when SS are enabled (noAA)!! it wasent like that in the SP demo!

i am very impressed with this demo. i could really see not enjoying it unless you have a really good system though. at 1024x768 everything max (no soft shadows) and 4xAF, the game looks plenty good to me and runs silky smooth. really reminds me of the 3dmark proxycon demo, but while actually playing.

on some servers, they have the walk speed set really low which is annoying. that's really my only complaint though... most definitely buying this game when it comes out.

1600X1200 On the system in my sig , 4XAF 0XAA

5% Below 25 FPS
71% Between 40-60 FPS
24% Below 40 FPS

Specs in my sig , I tried a lower rez with AA and the game was unplayable with lag , after removing AA and bumping the rez it ran great. Seems to run better than the SP demo for me.
