resolution-problems on openSuSE 10.0
I have installed the nvidia-drivers with YOU on openSuSE 10.0. In use is a Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100 - Notebook with max 1024x768. The Card is a GeForce Go 400. 3D works fine, but I can only use the videomode 800x600. All settings with Sax2, YAST or manuell edited xorg.conf-file are ignored after reboot of the system. All so the windows not in the center of screen.
Is it recomended to use the latest nvidia-driver from www.nvidia.com or is it an other problem?
After start of the nvidia-driver the "Fn"-button of the notebook (used in docingsation in switch with a xvga-flatscreen) is disabled. The problem #1 is shown on flatscreen and notebookscreen, but the flat has autodetection and fits the screen automaticly.
It all works fine with "the other redmond-operatingsystem" (I used XP only to test the hardware ;-) )
Thanks for help.
Sorry for my bad english

Re: resolution-problems on openSuSE 10.0
Per the README that ships with the NVIDIA driver, you run nvidia-bug-report.sh as root.
