Anyone have issues with finding servers?

My list updates when I first bring up Multiplayer then if I try to bring up all the servers with a certain map it breaks it. After that point I can't get any servers to show up. I've tried exiting the Multiplayer screen and loging out and then back in both with the same issues. It takes me quitting out of BF2 and then starting it back up to get servers.

Anyone else have this issue?

Yea I have that issue. But I have always had that problem, even with the older versions.

Damn. Before the 1.03 patch I could bring up all the servers playing the map I wanted.

Also, the Message at the beginning is already getting annoying.

I HATE THIS PROBLEM!!
Everytime I try to apply a filter to search for a certain map or server, it doesn't update and I lose the server list completely. I have to exit and re-enter to get the servers to show up again.

Positives:
- The ranks have been lowered. That's great IMO. I'm going to gym 4 days a week and also have school on my shoulders. I really don't have the abillity to put so much effort on game.

Negatives:
- I can't join servers with a 3rd-party server broswer like AllSeeingEye because of that stupid EA message that doesn't work anyway.

So far, the patch seems alright. Some of the changes are nice, like no longer killing people by tapping them with a vehicle. Wake Island is a fun map, although it really does seem lacking not being able to move the carrier. It's nice that you now get points for destroying strategic assets, I'm actually going around doing that now. Although I do wish it gave you 2 points instead of just 1, for the amount of time it takes you to travel all the way over to them, I think there should be better compensation (especially since you can only destroy 2 at a time with the C4 you start out with).

However, I've heard a lot of complaints about lag recently. Not sure if it's just the servers or if the patch screwed up something, but it seems like finding a smooth game is getting to be pretty hard.

Glad they finally added support for 1280x1024 and some widescreen resolutions. Shadows still not fixed though.

I agree... getting to those things can be a huge pain in the ass, but they probably did that so people wouldnt point farm. If you could get 10 support points in a matter of minutes guaranteed, and no one was bothering to go and kill you, your commander could just keep dropping supplies for you and you could have hundreds of points by the end of the match. I guess its still possible now, but itd take twice as long.

And I have noticed the lag too... it really sucks

Mostly good things to say about the patch:

The jerkiness experienced with machine gunning in a tank was driving me nuts. Much better now.

The new rank system is ok and it was nice to get 3 unlocks. The only bad thing is that we lose the anticipation of working toward the next unlock or rank. That part of the game is fun.

I don't like the "reserved slots." I hate it when it looks like a game has spots open only to find that I am not on the "reserved name list."

I have noticed some lag. I can't say if is the patch or just the server.

Thank heavens for the favorites menu!

Hopefully, Blackhawks will now be used more often for their real life purpose: Transporting troops quickly to a fight. I wish some fix would do the same for APV's. Currently, APV's are death traps for a load of soldiers so they are almost never "PV's."

I have not noticed much change in AA effectiveness. One Ace jet pilot can still totally dominate a game to the point it is pointless to play.

More observations to come as I get more time in the maps.

ok I played it for a few, got my rank up 3 but it still says im only ranked 1 in the stats page and I cant unlock the new guns. But then I restart the game and it dose it again. Starts me from the rank I had before and then jumps up 3.
