I've been working and played nothing in the last 24h.....just been too tired but most of the time when I am not half-dead..I have fun with -Dungeon SiegeII -Fable: TLC and -Quake2 ( yep had to dust it off for a play through before Q4 )btw: Anyone know where to get a good "enhancement mod" for Q2?? I tried one in the way back that did a killer job adding particle effects, blood, models and new OpenGL menus. I can't remember the name, I tried one from Fileplanet called "Quake2Max" but it wasent the same and not stable at all.....

Just played some FarCry. I love that game, but it is way too hard to have that stupid checkpoint save system.
I think I'll fire up Splinter Cell now. |

Call of Duty, BF2, Ancient Evil and Realms of the Haunting.
I downloaded Ancient Evil (Diablo-like game from 1998) from The Home of The Underdogs website at work so Id have something to do during my "breaks" ![]() And believe it or not, Realms of the Haunting works great in Windows XP with VDMSound (sound blaster DOS emulator, with some other good features for DOS games). I copied the contents of all 4 CDs to the game folder, changed the CD path and now I dont even need the disks... the sound crackles a bit some times, and the mouse cursor flickers a lot, but other than that it runs really smooth and plays just fine (even the movies and midi music). Hell, even VESA video modes work and those arent even supposed to be available in Windows XP. This is a sweet game though, everyone should try it out ![]()

World of Warcraft and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow.
Castlevania is AWESOME. FREAKING AWESOME. If you have a DS, go buy it right now.

Well, so much for SCCT. I lost all my saves and I was quite far into the game. I can't bring myself to replay all of that right now.
This sucks. |
