Performance problem with baseMosaic

Hi,

I'm using a NVS450 with 3 screens attached, running at 1920x1080 each with compiz as window manager under gnome 2.
Tied them together into a single display with basemosaic, which works very nicely.
Except when resizing a window or using other 3d effects from Compiz, or the screen saver. The display freezes up for several seconds, flashes a few times and goes back to normal.
Or in the case of the screensaver of compiz desktop wall, it just freezes up.

Bug, or to week of a gfx card?
