fan not running on my rad?

oh bugger, the fans not running on my radeon 9700? what causes this, can i run it with out or will i get melt down, how if i run it with case fans on it instead of a chip fan?

how old is your card? the fan blades could be damaged, or its not connected right. You could put a case fan next to it or a good heatsink, but you should try to find a GPU cooler that will work with that card, becuase it's dangerous without one..
