What Game/Games do you consider yourself "the best". Also what is your strategy?

We all think we are the best at one or two games. The game that all your friends refuse to play against you if you play it. What game are you the best at and what tactics do you use to make you so "1337"? For once give out your secrets!

Quake3.
Strategy:
I'm just extremely good at the game. I handle whatever needs to get done. My secret to winning at this game is always using rocket launcher(dont we all ) and keeping my health above 100 my number one priority. I focus more on defense than offense, works every time.

Age of Empires 2.
Strategy:
At one Time I was ranked as on of the top in the nation.

My strategy for fighting quick deathmatch is basically building 4 stables and 6 castles. Create tons of paladins and castle units and placing the spawn point in the middle of my opposing sides base. My personal believe is quick deathmatch shows absolutely no "skill" it is basically who builds the fastest and has the best hotkeys.

Strategy for a long drawn out battle really can't be put in a small message thread. To simplify my strategy, villagers and resources should be your main priority, not soldiers

I don't have the dedication to play a game long enough. I was a decent sniper in TFC at one time.

Quake 3

Strategy:

My aim and prediction are naturally excellent. I have mastered the physics of Q3 so I can zoom around the maps like roadrunner. I also have all the pickups timed to perfection so if you want anything, expect to take it with a rocket or rail shot.

Quake 2
Strategy:

See above. Railgun/shotgun was my combo almost 100% of the time though.

Quake3 and UT2004

I have really fast reaction time, and in UT2004, constantly use the dodge. My friends refuse to play against me because I will pwn them Online I am usually near the top on these games.

In UT2004 I'm a flak *****. In quake3 I am a rocket jumping splash damage *****.

I did get my A$$ handed to me by Fatal1ty once... but I consider him superhuman

I also played alot of Rainbow Six... and considered myself pretty decent.

Do you mean "the best" or "really good?"

I dont think Im "the best" at any games, but I am really good at:
battlefield 2- I play pretty cautiously... I have pretty good aim (though the hit detection doesnt help any ), Im deadly accurate with grenades most of the time. I seem to do really well with predicting where people are (ie, seeing tracers coming from an enemy on the other side of a wall... I can toss a grenade and 90% of the time I'll get him without ever even seeing him). I do really well with vehicles as well (especially armor)... my main "strategy" is to always watch all sides and keep my eyes open.

FEAR MP: Just started playing the demo on saturday and I was already kicking everyones asses around the first night. My main strategy is it to pick the Penetrator gun and aim high. If I think im going down, I hold a grenade, I'll almost always blow up my killer. Also, keep a good stock of medkits and bind the key to a convenient place so I can use them when I start taking a bunch of damage.

EDIT: Oh man stnctter reminded me... I was awesome at TFC back in the day. Its a shame that all these other class-based multiplayer games are heading for realism because TF 2 (if it ever comes out) will probably follow. They really need to just duplicate the good old TFC gameplay with better graphics and some added features.

Yea, I consider myself really good at FEAR also. I am 99% in first place. Very rarely am I second.

I don't consider myself to be "the best" at any games in particular, but I am "very good" at CS1.6. One of my neighbors is CAL-P (ex CAL-I) and I was fortunate enough to have him more or less get me going in the game. Granted he wouldn't let me play with him at first because I sucked horribly, but overtime I started playing more and more scrims with him and people on his level, and after getting my ass handed to me many many times I started to pick up skill, and I fair quite well for myself in the game nowadays. Still not his level of play (he devotes his life to it), but I still consider myself to be a very good CS player. I'll be picking up Source tomorrow, see how I do in that.

recently, DOD:S.

i use the thomson and i just OWN the side areas/buildings. my fav areas are the side throughways for donner and flash.

you just have to be confident and know the areas REAL well. dont let people in your "territory."

i still die a lot but thats the nature of the game. esp if you dont have backup.
