did you ever stop to think that maybe you just got a bad mouse?
I bought my Razer Diamondback mouse last year and believe me it SUCKED when i first got it. When i would just move left and right the mouse would slowly move to the top left hand corner of the screen. I tried everything I could to fix the problem. Finally i just decided that i got a bad mouse. I got newegg to RMA the mouse and got a replacement. Immediately after plugging it in I knew that the old mouse MUST have been bad because this mouse was so much better. |

I dont own this mouse (yet) but im considering buying one.. Ive read several reviews and not one mentions this 'negative accel' issue, They all pretty much love it other than the fact logitech removed one of the side buttons ,and it costs a bit to much for a corded mouse.
Considering gamers are buying and reviewing this mouse im pretty sure this issue would've been well known by now?

Wait, they really got rid of the browser forward mouse button? Why did they do that? That would be annoying.

In his defense, at least he provided a link that seems to indicate he isn't the only one experiencing this issue. He isn't just making this up guys, or at least it doesn't seem that way.
I love my MX510. ![]() |

I have no tracking issues with my Copperhead compared to my MX518. I am a high sensitivity player, so maybe that has something to do with it...

LOL, this is the stupidest thread I've ever seen. Someone can't figure out how to configure his mouse so he tells everyone that it's horrible. LOL! My G5 works fine thank you very much and there's no "negative acceleration" or whatever BS you're spewing.
![]() I will say this - laser mice do have a bit of trouble tracking on certain surfaces. I had to replace my fUnc 1030 because my mouse did not function at all on it. Maybe try a couple different surfaces. Quote:

Maybe your particular piece of G5 hardware is malfunctioning but I've had only good experiences with laser mice. I own a Logitech MX1000 laser mouse and it performs very well in all games--FPS, RTS, adventure, whatever.
Logitech's driver software gave lots of customization options and it performs very well.
