italianmafioso:

A couple of things I saw in your Settings that "I" would change:

1. Refresh: Go from 60 to 75-85Hz. Gotta be easier on the eyes,
2. Texture Filter: Go from Anisotropic to Bi or Trilinear,
3. Anti-Aliasing: Go from 4x to 2x,
4. Smoke: Go from Everything to World,
5. Corpses: Go from Medium to Small.

I'm not familiar with your GPU, but it appears that anything less than a 7800-level card will have to make compromises with this game. Playing with my 6800GT card at your settings plus the above listed changes, I have a very playable game with slight stuttering at the more intense battle areas.

i gave up trying to run my 6800GT rig in DX9. now i settle for DX7 @ 1600x1200 4xAA 16xAF, max settings and get good steady fps in multiplayer ! and you know it does'nt look all that bad in DX7 @ 1600x1200 ...

It looks as if this game is truly made for dual 7800's in SLI-mode in order to enjoy all the bells and whistles enabled. A pipe-dream for the majority of us, I'm sure.
