Question DELL UltraSharp 2005FPW 20.1-inch Wide Monitor vs ViewSonic N2750w 27-inch Wide TV

As I have previously posted I am looking for a new monitor and after the great help on this forum and alot of research I am down to two possible solutions. My problem is I can not decided which one will be better, the DELL UltraSharp 2005FPW 20.1-inch Wide Monitor or the ViewSonic N2750w 27-inch Wide TV. The monitor will only be about 2ft from me so the ViewSonic 27 Inch im afraid will be to big, but the Dell is only 9 inches high, my old monitor was 11. I saw the Dell the other day and I must say for a 20 inch screen it looked kina small. My other issue is that the ViewSonic only goes up to 1280x720 while the Dell goes up to 1680 x 1050. I also have not been able to find a good review of the ViewSonic as a computer monitor, im afraid I will get it and not be able to read the forums! Could you guys please help me decided which monitor will be the best?

Thanks

Get the Dell 2405FPW if you can afford it.

You can get the 2405FPW for about $800-$900 depending on the deals Dell is offering. To be honest if you can afford $800 now then waiting a bit and saving some money for the 2405FPW is highly recommended. It's an amazingly beautiful LCD. You have to see it in person to truely appreciate how great it really is.

I actually have both and I use the 2005FPW for My main computer useage ,I really only connect the Viewsonic to My PC to watch DVD's and the max resolution is 1280X1024 on it and it fits perfectly.I would say to go with the 2005FPW ,it's a sweet monitor.

Well it seems like the Tech bargains coupon already expired but just keep an eye out for the next hot deal on the 24". Just visit sites like tech bargains or Hot Deals Club. Sooner or later they'll post another coupon code.

Actually if money is no object, get the Eizo S2410W. (About 1450Euro). I've seen the S2110W (950Euro) upclose and I haven't been able to sleep since
