A7N8X-E Deluxe Mic Boost problem

Hi

I have a Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard with the nForce (intel?) integrated soundcard. I'm running SuSE 9.2 on a 2.6 linux kernel. I finally installed nvidias latest sound driver 1.0-0306 and got the mic up and running, but as for everyone else the sound is VERY low, so I tried running nvmixer to enable Mic Boost, but nothing happens, nothing seems to be working in my nvmixer, whatever I do nothing happens.

Anyone know what might be the problem ?
