If it's not coming from here, it's something new and VERY well hidden. I never get spyware, am really anal about that stuff and I see nothing...spybot, ad aware, nothing. MSconfig, nothing...
well...good for you...ive been doing security for years... even i get spyware and popup every once in a while... you need to look at your system then...

Sorry dude, but you have other issues. Mike has never used pop-ups nor spyware on his site, nor would he. Mike is a stand-up guy that is not interested in profiting from this site, but rather attempting to generate just enough revenue to keep the site up. He loses money every single year performing this service for the community and you must understand that you are wrong and owe an apology for being so strident in your mistaken accusations.

I've been around here for almost 2 years now and have never had a single pop up using both IE and Firefox.

the only time ive ever gotten popup was went something has wormed its way into my system..not from nvnews.... he just wants us to believe that he formated his system then went straight here saying this was a source of his problems... why would anyone format there system over spyware,...let alone format it even when he said he runs all sorts of programs to detect it....

Elvin Presler you need to run hijackthis.... sounds like you have a bho problem within IE...

Well, they may be coming from the ad banners here or whatever, but it ONLY happens here, and only start once I have visited here. Go figure.

"why would anyone format there system over spyware,...let alone format it even when he said he runs all sorts of programs to detect it...."

Because I have an image and it only takes me 4 minutes to reformat clean and fresh.

nope i just got done testing the banners and none of those stupid popunders either...... you have a BHO problem that you need to get ride of in IE...you have to understand sometimes those programs look for keywords within the browser itself...

Have you considered that your image file may have spyware in it?
