Sure we can do this. But as we give it away for free it does not pay our bills. This reduce the time we have to work on improvements. At the moment the wishlist grows faster than we can process it. I would gladly work all day long on this list but it is outside of our possibilities.

so your one of the guys that made this tool. awsome tool, thx alot ! but why the hell can't NV do the same thing ? was it that complicated ?

It is not a technical problem. It is a legal problem. Force triple buffer in a D3D driver is against the rules for a d3d driver. If you allow this you will lost WHQL.

then how can ati get away with it? if i'm correct ati tray tool unlocks triple buffer that is hidden in the driver

You are wrong. Ati tray tool use the same technic we used first in DirectX Tweaker to do this. At least this is one of the most simple plugins we have. It takes more time to create the config module than to build the plugin itself. Trple buffer need only one line of code inside a Direct3D game.

You know what? Hey, Nvidia, I have never cared if an NV driver is WHQL! Never have! not since my Tnt, nor for my GF2-GTS or GF3TI, GF4TI and I dont care for my GF6! NV? Give em what they need! (Loud applause heard from growing crowd).

if they can't do triple buffer in the driver because of WHQL

nvidia already releases two drivers, WHQL and beta set, why not just add triple buffer in the beta

The solution for NVidia is simple. Just make triple buffer for D3D games an option that is disabled unless coolbits is loaded. Then they get the WHQL and we get easy triple buffering in D3D.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get FEAR nor Call of Duty 2 to work with SLI using this utility.
When I start a game with DXTweaker, it simply disables VSync altogether.

Note to other SLI users out there, have you been able to get VSync to stick with this App and Fear / Call of Duty 2?

This is really getting to me now, games are sooo much better with TBing.
