Default Repeating keeeysttrokes

After installing the 1.0-7676 driver on Fedora Core 4 (x86), I get sporradic key repeats (for exxxample, the spurious "r"s and "x"s you'veeee seen above, oh, and that ""'e", and the quotation mark too...).

Thee key repeats didn't happenn until I installed the nvidia driverrr. The same driver works fine on the same computer in Debian Sarge. What gives?

Default Re: Repeating keeeysttrokes

This sounds like a kernel issue if its working properly in Debian and not in FC4.

0) Are you using a PS/2 or USB keyboard?
1) Does this problem happen immediately after X is started?
2) Please generate and post a bug report while this problem is present
3) Are there any errors in /var/log/messages when this problem is present?

Thanks,
Lonni
