Default Nvidia ia64 AMD x2 proc.

I'm trying to install Nvidia on a Fedora 4 , AMD 64 x2 with Nforce4 motherboard,
Leadtek PX6200TD PCI-E (Nvidia Geforce 6200) video adapter.
I downloaded the AMD 64 driver and installed but it won't work.
Am I using the correct driver? The 'nv' driver won't work, I'am using the 'vesa'
driver at 1280x1024 on a flat-screen LCD and it works fine.
Took out 'load dri' and "load glx" ,"nvidia" is in xorg.conf
But i would like to get Nvidia installed.

Thanks
Jim

What does "it won't work" mean? Please generate and post a bug report for review.

Thanks,
Lonni

Well I blew it , I didn't have the kernel-devel package installed and I didn't run setenforce 0 .
After I did that it installed and now we have Nvidia working.

Hi,

just to correct this... AMD64 is not ia64 as written in subject! IA64 is Itanium from Intel while AMD64 = x86_64 = x64 = EM64T....

Greetings,

Jan
