Or just dusting them out all the time I don't use air filters because it obstucts airflow, but my system would never get that dirty

So I take it you guys open up that top plate often? You can dust all you want on the outside of the card when you open up your case, but if you never dust on the inside....... you get that mess! The outside of my card never got bad, but this the first time I took off the top plate I had this card... 1.5 years now I believe?

I use an automotive air compresser @ 160 psi to clean our computers. A couple of blasts of that from about a ft away and all dust is gone

You know...that's a REALLY good idea. My dad's got one at home and I thought about using it a few times, but I was afraid because that thing is powerful...but it would save so much money over spending like $8/can on compressed air.

What a racket those guys have going. Sheesh.

except for the dust thats been sucked in and trapped under your plate..
